Coming out of sabbatical has been interesting - I'm playing two very different roles in an ambitious work-in-progress about the famous Nelly Bly of Around the World in 80 Days Fame...

But this play is about Nelly's incredible insider expose on abuse in insane asylums in NYC back at the turn of the century.  Roles I'm playing include German Louise - an unfortunate inmate in the asylum who desperately prays the Hail Mary in German -  and the sketchy jaded landlady who runs a boarding house for women. Writer Kelli Lynn Harrison has written a unique piece filled with colorful characters and hilarious ads from Old New York
